A Little Old Fashioned Karma Coming 'Round

Back about 26 years ago, an angry Hillary Rodham, looking for
someone to blame when her boyfriend Billy Clinton lost his bid to
become a Congressman, lashed out at an aide and called him a
"f---ing Jew bastard."
The revelation came late last week when advance word leaked on
yet another book about Bill and Hillary Clinton's marriage of
convenience.
Hillary denies ever saying such a thing, but she said it in front
of witnesses and they all say the First Lady of the United States
is not only an Anti-Semite, but a liar.
To understand the situation that puts Hillary's panties in a
bunch in her New York Senate race, go back to 1974, when Bill was
trying to unseat popular Republican congressman John Paul
Hammerschmidt in Arkansas.
As always, Hillary ran things with an iron hand. And, as she
always does when things go wrong, Hillary lashed out to blame
someone else when Clinton lost.
"Nothing was ever Hillary's fault," says former Clinton campaign
worker Carter Wilson. "Somebody else always had to be blamed."
In this case, it was campaign aide Paul Fray who rose to the top
of Hillary's blame list. Ironically, Fray isn't Jewish (he's
Baptist), but his mother was Jewish and he was proud of his
parent's heritage.
"Paul has always been proud of his roots, and people knew of his
cultural links," Mrs. Fray said. "When Hillary let loose on him,
she cut deep into his heart."
But everyone who has ever been around the Clintons say hurting
people is price anyone pays to work for Bill and Hillary.
"Sooner or later, everyone around the Clintons can become a
target," says former campaign worker John Ashley. "It can be
brutal."
Ashley said Hillary loved the "f-word."
"She used it all the time. Everything was 'f---ing this' and
'f---ing that' and anybody who was at the time of her sh-t list
would come under fire."
In fact, says former campaign volunteer Carter Wilson, "any man
who didn't kiss her or Bill's ass was a 'bastard' and any woman a
'bitch.'"
She would call any woman who went public about an affair with her
husband "a lying, opportunistic bitch" even when other staff
members knew the allegations were true.
"Hillary's instinct is to lash out at anyone who doesn't buy the
company line," says Ashley.
That instinct has given Hillary a big problem in New York, where
she can't win her Senate campaign without the Jewish vote.
"This has the potential to be 'Hymietown' - the sequel," says
Republican consultant Jay Severin, remembering Jesse Jackson's
infamous derogatory reference about Jews in 1984.
Or, as Willie Nelson sang, it's just a little old-fashioned
karma, coming 'round.
