Nobody in Philly ever said Herb Lusk had any brains.  Besides, endorsements
from the pulpit are nothing new for the Black churches; the only difference
here is that usually they're endorsing Democrats, not Republicans.  I'd be
curious to know why Barry Lynn hasn't challenged the tax exemption of the
Black churches that Clinton and Gore have preached in to such rousing
receptions.  In Lusk's case, before going any further, I'd also want to know
how much Governor Death's people promised him...  (Am I cynical?  You bet I
am.)
