Even adult witness cannot be depended upon. This is taught in a unique way in the first year of law school. When the students are least expecting it, two bizarrely dressed actors will run into the classroom, perform a brief skit, and run outside. The law students then must immediately fill out a form describing what they just saw. Even with the incident that fresh in their minds, a large and predictable percent of the students will be mistaken about even such basics as the race and gender of the actors, let alone how they were dressed or what they did.
