This has and does happen and it's a terrible crime and a shame that "we"
allow quacky doctors (or less) to convince people that fiction is
reality...and that good people are accused and convicted based on an outright
fabrication.
June is totally right and this scourge, this "recovered memory" nonsense
needs to be exposed for the sham it is and not trumpeted as some sort of
breakthrough science.
