How do you set your norms for how Americans should be living?
What Buck Rogers/Jetsons future would all classes of Americans
be living if it were not for the depredations of investment banking.
World War One -- middle east oil grab, destruction of
geopolitical competitors Germany and
Russia--at cost of what would have been
history's finest generation
Great Depression -- deliberate short sells and market-crashing
margin calls-- contracting M1 -- loss of
freedom, ruined lives and enterprise as
asset wealth shifts to the financial elites
World War Two -- We did not need Pearl Harbor; and Germany could
have been beaten in 1943 --except for objectives
of the elites in and around the middle east (North
Africa etc.)--basically the War was a gift to Stalin;
Holocaust, which began after Hitler invaded Stalin
could have been cut short etc.
China sellout -- George Marshall and State Department communists
sabotaged Kuomintang and aided Stalin's puppets
Mao and Zhou--"limited" Korean War was a sellout
too
Kennedys shot -- China-Cuba-affiliated U.S. drug cartels shoot
Kennedy -- start Great Society Wall-Street-
federal-borrowing binge -- affirmative action
to reward incompetence, disguised as social
program
Fed inflation -- ruins savings, ruins savings and loans, like German
hyperinflation of 1919, leaves global investment
banking with our "lost" savings wealth.
Financial deregulation -- sets up junk bond leverage machine;
allows investment banking to gain control of
U.S. corporations; bankrupts middle class
businesses; shifts investment capital abroad;
creation of no-security, no future "service
economy"
Bush-Clinton-Gore-Bush -- total unchecked sway of deviant
financial elites over U.S. government and
people.
Jim Blair -- announces U.S. workers really "rich" using
Brazil as benchmark, indicating that financial
elite are quite safe for the time being.
You, Jim, and every other trotter in the stables--judge
this country on the basis of
1) how well the aggregate is doing (95 percent of gains
going to the rich)
2) how well the bottom is doing (welfare rolls, free abortions
food stamps, workfare, "bread and circus" etc.)
and forget what is happening to the self-respecting,
self-supporting middle that we used to have.
For the fact is that the middle is shrinking; its
assets moving up; its people moving down.
This is the hypocrisy of the thieving financial elites,
that the aggregate and the fate of the bottom are all that
count. And you fell for it, Jim.
I suppose you favor Gore to take on those bad "tobacco"
companies as if that is the core problem facing Americans;
or to wreck the last remaining sector of the old economy,
medicine.
Or GW Bush who will give our social security pensions to
Wall Street so it can be invested in more new factories
in China, Burma, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil
and anywhere else where they can bribe the officials
into giving them a free ride on pollution and wage-slave
near-subsistence labor.
Resign your academic chair, take up your pitchfork,
and let's get our country back.
