It can be done, at least in terms of the
majority of the world's population agreeing that x/y/z is the most
popular/largest religion. The issue is not if everybody joins it but if
everybody believes it.

There is not a single religion in all of history whose
followers have been
able to impose it on the whole world, not even
Christianity and Islam,
whose followers certainly tried hard enough. It
