Well, you're certainly right about that, but it was the Republican Party and
their paid hacks who destroyed Monica Lewinski's reputation, although I say
that wondering if they really did, since she was an extremely experienced
woman who had resorted to sexual blackmail in the past and to my mind might
have even been a victim of child sexual abuse. That is my own thought based
on the fact that she expected a lot of attention and reward in return for
sexual promiscuity. It was she who came to her position ready to earn her
"knee pads" as she put it, long before Clinton knew of her existence. As for
saying something bad about a young person. I never listened to Rush again
when (before Clinton was elected), I heard him and some other guy whose name
I do not know talk about how ugly the then twelve year old daughter of Bill
Clinton was. Anyone anywhere who tells any twelve year old girl she is ugly
has lost me as an audience. I was amazed at how many Republicans thought it
was just fine as long as the girl was the daughter of a Democrat. As I have
said before--it's any means to an end with them. I know that politics is a
game to some, but I just can't imagine a twelve year old hearing herself
regaled as abysmally ugly doesn't have a hard time remembering that it's all
a "game." Prudy
