Bush's Description of Reporter Not Disputed by Others

(CNSNews.com) - Adam Clymer, the New York Times reporter
described as a "major league a******" by Republican George W.
Bush, does indeed have a bad temper, according to journalists who
have seem him in action.

The Washington Times' John McCaslin, writing in his "Inside the
Beltway" column Wednesday, says U.S. Capitol Police filed a rare
formal complaint against Clymer during the previous session of
Congress when Clymer acted in a "loud, profane, and abusive
manner" with four Capitol police officers. Clymer reportedly
spouted obscenities when an officer guarding a visiting head of
state prevented Clymer from walking down a corridor.

"His using profanity in a crowded area was unnecessary," the
complaint said, adding that "he does not have any right to make
physical contact, or place his hands on any officer who is
performing his duties in an official capacity."

According to McCaslin, a veteran broadcast reporter once saw
Clymer going "totally bonkers with a Secret Service agent" during
a trip with President Ford. Clymer became "completely
unglued...shouting, swearing," said the unnamed broadcaster.

In the book "The Boys on the Bus," Tim Crouse of Rolling Stone
magazine said Clymer "bitched incessantly about everything."
