It's the Maldon Institute, headquartered in Baltimore with a mailing address in
D.C. Scaife's foundation gave $250,000 last year to Maldon. No word yet on the
group's other funding sources, but their board includes right-wing stalwarts
such as D. James Kennedy and Robert Moss. Moss is a journalist who co-wrote
several novels (notably *The Spike*) with Arnaud de Borchgrave (former
*Newsweek* correspondent, now publisher of the Moon-owned *Washington Times*)
during the 1970's claiming that the news media were used willingly by the KGB to
influence the American public.
