The clashes continued, and when one of the Palestinian police officers was shot and injured, his colleagues began to shoot at the Israeli soldiers, said the eyewitnesses. The Israeli soldiers were located at the military tower on the borders and the Palestinian police officers were responding to the fire from the adjacent houses and also from their bases next to the borders.
