Here, though, is a general guide: James A. Prince is the CEO of the Houston, Texas Rap-A-Lot record label. Rap-A-Lot promotes �gansta� rap and has been the focus of criticism in the past for violent lyrics. MTV once banned a Rap-A-Lot video because it featured the shooting of a police officer. Prince also is or was in the car business. A car with a dealer plate from a used car lot in Houston is found with 76 kilos of cocaine in a hidden compartment. Thus begins a Drug Enforcement Administration on the dealings of James Prince. After the investigation into Prince�s activities gets cranked up Prince starts complaining of police �harassment.� He takes his complaint to California race warlord Democrat Maxine Waters. Waters writes a letter to Janet Reno citing �racist police harassment� of James Prince. Waters is particularly upset because the lead DEA investigator in the case, Jack Schumacher, has been involved in six fatal police shootings in his 27 year law-enforcement career. Can you imagine? That dirty cop actually defending himself? How dare he? Soon after Waters writes the letter to Reno, a meeting is held with Prince, his attorney, the DEA, Waters and Waters� husband. One DEA official said that it was �totally unheard of� to have a member of congress involved to this extent in an ongoing criminal investigation. According to DEA agents, soon after the Waters complaint the DEA investigation into James Prince is halted. Investigators were ordered not to pursue any new leads. Then � an oddity. In the Spring of 2000 Al Gore visits a church in Houston that is strongly involved with James Prince. Prince is present when Gore visits the Church. Within three days of Gore�s visit to this church the lead investigator, Jack Schumacher, is taken off the case and transferred to a desk job. So, how had Schumacher done up until the time the DEA halted his investigation and then transferred him? Well, how about 20 state and federal convictions and cocaine seizures in Oklahoma City, Beaumont and Houston. OK --- now for the clincher. It seems that James Prince managed to play the race card and use Maxine Waters and possibly Al Gore to get a federal investigation into his possible drug activities derailed. This week the Rap-A-Lot label plans to release a CD in which one of it�s rappers talk about killing DEA informants and brags about the ability of the �Rap-A-Lot Mafia� to derail DEA investigations and ruin drug agent�s careers. The CD actually names the DEA agents involved in the now-dead investigations and contains the lyrics � �.. comin� in here, making a f___ing case? Bitch, I� ll ruin your career.� By the way � Bill Campbell is playing a few race cards out of James Prince�s deck. Maybe Bill should run out to California and talk to Maxine Waters!
