I'd say that Samantha summed it up pretty well here. It is taken as given that the
two are intertwined, and what has it gotten anyone? There is never any evidence to
present only peoples testimony that something did occur. It could be all a bunch of
mis-perceptions, hoaxes, and fraud, as well as signs of mental illness. There
undoubtedly is much of all that involved somewhere but I still think there is a lot of
truth to the relayed memories.
There are many connections between the occult and the Intel. There is a desire for
control of radical movements and fringe belief systems which could potentially be
threats to the country and which means that groups are infiltrated and controlled.
There is a desire to study controlling systems in order to effectively use these same
systems for their own mind control efforts. There are others but these two examples
should be enough to indicate why the Intel. world would almost HAVE TO be involved.
