It's moot and irrelevant. What is interesting though is that Jews and
Palestinians
are almost identical genetically. But this isn't a race war is it? It's a
territorial war, a culture war, and a religious war.

Not really. The Dome of the Rock is built on a church, which was built in
the Temple area. Pre 1948 Palestine was controlled by the Britts, and before
that the Ottoman Turks who were fairly liberal about religion in their empire.
Anyway, I was talking about recent times before 1967 when the Temple Mount
was in Arab hands. They let Christian tourists in, but the area was forbidden
to Jews.
