It indeed looks terrible when armed official Israeli troups fire into
Palestinian crowds. Frankly, Palestine is showing extreme restraint in
return. It is also outrageous and laughable--in an infuriating way--that in
retaliation for the enraged civilian killing of two Israeli soldiers that
Israel BOMBED Palestinian targets and killed many Palestinians in the
process.
One of the main targets of the Israeli missiles was the antennae array
and building that broadcast Palestinian news--the Israeli argument was that
Arafat had used it to "incite the mob to violence!" A reasonable observer
would have thought that having foreign troups machine gun your unarmed
civilians--including children-- might have been the MAIN motivator to
violent revenge, with no "incitement" required . . . .
