What, exactly, makes this "ridiculous"? It doesn't sound the least bit
ridiculous to me. This kind of op is a cake walk for any competent
intelligence organization. It happens every day. Interpenetration is a
given in intelligence. The PLO undoubtedly has people inside the Mossad,
too. That's how it's done. The role of agents provocateur should never be
underrated. They are extremely useful.
That doesn't mean that's what happened to the Cole. There are a number of
possible explanations. But it is definitely one of the possibilities.
