12.9.00 Massive Western Power Shortage: NWO/BushMob 'December Surprise' As long ago as last February -- with the help of a few "heads-ups" from folks like Justin Tribble at the Columbine Research Task Force -- we realized the Bush International Crime Empire was initiating some events, in conjunction with certain of their Arab potentate buddies in the MidEast, which would induce a serious worldwide oil "shortage;" with attendant huge price increases and all kinds of ensuing uproar worldwide. EXACTLY as in fact did occur, throughout MUCH of this year. That was the FIRST of a NUMBER of "October Surprises" set in motion throughout the year 2000 (and before) by the Bush Crime Empire, under orders from the very top levels of the New World Order; to attempt turning the tide of public opinion against the Clinton Administration and thus by extension the Gore campaign, and make a Bush "victory" more likely, or at least more believable if serious ballot sabotaging and such became necessary. Though the impact of these manipulated global shortfalls in petroleum products supplies WAS pretty severe, it was noticeably mitigated in the U.S. by the current Administration's tapping of the national petroleum reserves. Though Dubya yelled, ranted and raged about the nation's lack of readiness to deal with a serious energy crisis, nobody much noticed. SO... "October Surprise" #1 didn't have the desired effect on society as the BushMob intended. Darn; and all that work too... Time for "October Surprise" #2, which was the implementation of some exceptionally Machiavellian machinations involving ongoing tensions between Israel and various Arab nations as well as Palestinians: the incitement of some SERIOUSLY brutal violence and a drastic escalation of the overall levels of hostility in the region. No sooner did things start heating up regarding Israel than Dubbo began making highly critical noises about the Administration's handling of THAT issue; non-subtly tying Arab-Israeli conflicts to the oil/energy issue. WHY did Dub connect these two rather unrelated issues? Because in HIS mind (what there is of it), he KNEW (if such is possible) that the two issues WERE IN FACT CONNECTED!! -- as both had been deliberately brought about through illegal, treasonous, criminal actions of the Bush Crime Empire/New World Order. But, even the Arab-Israeli hostilities and all Dub's hollering didn't seem to be swinging popular opinion behind Dub's candidacy to the the extent necessary. SO: time for "October Surprise" #3; the bombing of the USS Cole by some "Arab terrorists," in the employ of double agents connected to the Bush Crime Empire. Now Dub REALLY started hootin' and hollerin' about how the Democrats were going to take us all to wrack and ruin through their (pick one): - disastrous energy policies; - MidEast policies; - terrorism policies. Or all three. Again, in a NUMBER of speeches Dub tied everything together in one big package. Because, the various contrived "incidents' WERE indeed "tied together;" in that all had been deliberately instigated by Bush Mob/CIA NWO operatives. Still, come Election Day, not enough people really voted for Dubble Doo to ensure that a claim of victory would appear legitimate. Time for the "November Surprise." That is; the severely widespread monkey-wrenching of the balloting process in Florida. Which, incredibly, STILL did NOT hand the White House to the Bush Mob. Over a month later, the Florida Supreme Court has put the ball squarely in Al Gore's court, with Bush holding a razor-thin 150+ vote lead in Florida and over 40,00 ballots now to be recounted. NOW what to do, if you're one of the top dogs in the Bush Crime Empire? Time to pull a "DECEMBER SURPRISE," that's what! The "December Surprise" is the fact that suddenly, out of a clear blue sky, the ENTIRE WESTERN UNITED STATES HAS A DRASTIC, CRITICAL, AND UN-FIXABLE "power shortage of VAST proportions. NO SOLUTION WHATSOEVER is being offered for this extraordinary problem. By ANYONE. NO ONE saw this coming, even two weeks ago. Suddenly, it's just HERE. Yeah, RIGHT! But guess what? A MAJOR factor in this critical power shortage is the fact that MANY PRIVATELY-OWNED power plants were simultaneously shut down for so-called "routine maintenance." The state of California found this so suspicious they've sent inspectors to all off-line plants to see if in fact maintenance was taking place. Most of these PRIVATELY-OWNED plants are owned by mega-corporations, some based in Bush's home state of Texas. Indications are that the Bush Empire is calling some heavy-duty plays on this issue right now: using their insidious and far-reaching influence in the upper levels of the plutocracy to induce a massive, widespread but wholly BOGUS power shortage in the western U.S. -- and SOON probably throughout the REST of the country: to further manipulate our society, and put more pressure on everyone to knuckle under and acknowledge their new ruler, the New World Order's clear choice to play the part of U.S. President, El Dubbo. Think I'm kidding? GUESS what one of the FIRST things Bush wants to do when he gets in office? Open up the Arctic Wildlife Refuge to wholesale, unlimited and unrestricted OIL drilling, so the OIL-SOAKED Bush Crime Empire and ALL their global gangster butthole buddies can ream the American people and the rest of the world for more MONEY to a much greater extent than we've yet witnessed. (Oh; AND destroy the Arctic Refuge in the process.) TOTAL global control; enforced by the VERY bottom line. OIL. And MONEY. The Bush Crime Empire and the elitocrat global-fascist New World Order CONTROL the substance which THEY have managed -- MOST unfortunately -- to make the very LIFEBLOOD of our modern civilization: *O*I*L*. And THAT'S what this "December Surprise," this massive western power shortage, is about. NewsHawk Inc. WIRE:12/08/2000 21:57:00 ET Western U.S. Power Grid Faces Critical Shortfalls SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Power industry officials warned on Friday that electricity shortfalls threatening to plunge California into darkness expose a supply problem across the entire Western power grid. With a frigid Alaskan cold front headed for the region this weekend, grid operators are warning power supplies will drop to dangerously low levels from Seattle to San Diego. "We"re nervous. There"s no doubt about it," said Mike Hansen, a spokesman for Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), the federal agency that markets up to 15,000 megawatts of power from giant hydroelectric dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The Northwest Security Coordinator"s Regional Energy Response team, gathering the region"s top industries, utilities and government officials earlier Friday, issued a public appeal to voluntarily conserve energy for the next week to avoid outages. The team, formed just last month, also warned that utilities might be ordered to reduce the voltage at which power is delivered and cut service to "interruptible" customers. Interruptible customers are industrial users who, in exchange for discounted rates, agree to be shut off if supplies run low. The predicament is blamed on a failure over the past decade to build enough power plants to keep pace with the region"s rapidly growing population, strong local economy, and dwindling hydroelectric supplies from the Northwest. "Everything is coming together in a bad way," Hansen said. SHORT HYDROPOWER SUPPLY Rainfall this autumn in the Northwest is running about 30 percent below normal, raising concerns about whether there will be enough water next spring to ensure a healthy salmon migration if reservoirs, already low, are tapped now for emergency power. Also cutting into hydro supplies was California"s chronic power crisis this summer, when BPA and others heavily exported electricity south to keep California"s struggling power grid from collapsing under the weight of heavy air conditioning loads. California reciprocated in years past, sending power north during the winter in a seasonal balancing act. But that balancing act was toppled this year by unprecedented shortages in California. Exacerbating the problem are maintenance outages at nearly a third of the state"s plants, which were run hard all summer. The crunch has produced staggeringly high spot market prices, with power for delivery Monday to substations along the Columbia River, a key trading hub, fetching up to $5,000.00 per megawatt hour (MWh) Friday. The same power a year ago sold for $28.75. CALIF. ON BRINK OF BLACKOUTS Californians have endured a week of alerts urging them to save power whenever possible, including dimming holiday lights. The state called a "Stage Three" emergency Thursday -- the highest ever issued -- and prepared to launch rolling blackouts. Rolling blackouts, which cut service to entire neighborhoods for up to an hour to avoid a system collapse, were narrowly averted when emergency supplies were freed from several sources. Power from the federally operated Glen Canyon dam in Arizona was shipped to California and several giant electric pumps used to send water from Northern to Southern California were shut. Federal officials said further steps were being taken Friday to help California by reducing power usage at federal facilities in the state, including ordering berthed navy ships to switch on their on-board generators and disconnect from the grid. Meteorologists warn the big test of the system will likely come Monday, when temperatures plunge to about 12 degrees Fahrenheit below normal in key cities like Seattle and Portland, Ore., sending heating demand sharply higher. "We"re about to find out next week just how interconnected the Western grid really is," Patrick Dorinson, spokesman for the California Independent System Operator (ISO) told Reuters. The ISO operates about 75 percent of the California power transmission grid, the biggest part of a network of high voltage lines that spans from northern British Columbia to the northwest Baja California and as far east as the Rocky Mountains. _________________________________________________________________ ++NewsHawk subscriptions cost $15 US for three months, payable by MONEY ORDER only, made out to JOHN QUINN (of course cash is OK, but inadvisable for snailmail). ++Any donations of funds should also be sent as a money order made out to JOHN QUINN. ++Mail donations and payments for subscriptions to: John Quinn PO Box 106 Laytonville, Calif. 95454
