Sure do. See, the difference I am trying to get at is that the
above *is* fact, whereas, without a source or authority (i.e.,
eye-witness, hear-say, inside source, etc.), the other things are
speculation, at best.

Again, if this *is* fact, how so?? I believe that it would
behoove you to preface stuff like the above with things like, "In
my opinion...," or, "It is my belief, based on such and such,
that...," etc.

Source/s? Even if you reply with something as weak as, "I heard
it from a friend of a friend that was there, yadday, yadda,
yadda," even *that* would be better for you and your readers,
i.e., better for your future credibility (and my blood
pressure;-)
Btw, I want you (and others) to know that it's not that I feel
you owe me/us your sources, ... but honestly, put yourself for a
minute in our shoes, and try to think what we would think as we
read stuff like the above, stuff that is without some qualifier
preceding the "facts," and/or some proof or documentation.
Can you see that for several reasons, I would REALLY LOVE to see
some hard proof of any or all of the above.
Lemme just say that if you would/could provide some, well, it
would tickle me pink, bro. Hell, it would make mine and many
other's decade! And, THAT is no exaggeration, I assure you.
And, whats more, if you *did* have proof of any of the above,
well, to say that I would be ever indebted to you...well, that
would be a huge understatement.
Hell, every now and then, when I read such stuff I think there
might actually FINALLY be some hard proof as to some Ickian type
claims/rhetoric. When I get this way, I start rushing through
the reading of a source such as you, i.e., one I do not know
well, rapidly scanning for source or authority. And, to be
honest, when neither is forthcoming, I just chalk it up to being
another interesting coincidence, but quite useless. And, the
important thing about what I am trying to say [important, I would
think, to *you*], is that [and I don't think I am alone in
admitting this] I usually don't bother reading much of that
source any more:(
Hey...I want you (and others) to know that it's not that I am
demanding documentation from you, or that I feel you owe me your
sources....BUT, for several obvious reasons (and a few not), I
would REALLY LOVE to see some hard proof of any or all of the
above. Lemme just say that if you would provide some, I would be
ever indebted to you.
