We don't have this problem here in the U.S.  The media fully understands
who is paying the bills and are committed to business.  Just take a look
at the 1996 FCC rewrite:  only half or every hour is devoted to program
content, removal of regulations on decibel variation between commercials
and program content, removal of any chance for low power stations, free
gifts of bandwidth to corporate interests, etc.

and this is news?  That has been the tactic for many years.  Pepper us
with the mundane acts while the major incursions go unreported.  Never
ask "Why?".
