That�s absurd. At the end of WWII Russian occupied most of Eastern
Europe by military force. The only reason they did not also occupy
Western Europe is because the Yanks and Brits got there first and
wouldn�t let them.

Bullshit. They didn�t have the guns. When the Spanish Anarchist militias
finally said, enough is enough, and took up arms against the spread of
fascism, the so-called �free� world (especially the Brits) blockaded
their access to arms coming by sea. The Fascists, of course, had no
problem importing both arms and troops because they controlled the
overland route. So in effect, the �free� world and the fascists united
in successful suppression of European resistance to fascism. Read Facts
and Fascism by George Seldes. He meticulously recounts the economic
motivations of the Brits in this case, especially the Rio Tinto Mining
Company.

Indeed. With 20-20 hindsight, it is easy to dismiss as a stupid mistake.
It was, however, a calculated move on the part of the Western elites.
They knew exactly what they were doing.

This is not true. Germany declared war on America. It was their
decision, not America�s and not FDR�s.
