We tend to rate weather based on what we have experienced in our own lifetimes, but forget that weather patterns occur not only over decades, but centuries and millenia. What we are experiencing COULD just be part of a pattern that occurs over, say 3 centuries; and as such it would in fact be 'normal', albeit seemingly abnormal by our limited perspective. What needs to be done is to check long-term weather patterns, via tree rings, core ice samples, etc. Only then can it be said with any certainty whether the weather is actually 'strange' or not... ;-) > Granted, it could be just natural variation but when I read about weather > modification and climate change, I really wonder. We can't discount the effects of non-HAARP modifications by man...burning rain forests, burning fossil fuels, altering forests into pastures or even into urban communities, all have an effect on the overall weather patterns...
