Ha Ha. These duplicitious handwringers make me laugh (and cry).
These "Democratic senators" have as much credibility judging a potential
AG as does Hitler discussing Zionism.
After Kommandante Reno (Murder, Inc.) the bar is so lowered that any
damm Nazi can be appointed AG. Please tell me how Ashcroft can be
any worse then "gas'em - burn'em" Reno? What pray tell will he do?
Reno has accomplished the impossible. She has made even that horrible
Ed Meese look good by comparison.
Perhaps Ashcroft will lock up millions of his fellow Americans in support of the
Insane Drug War? Perhaps his Justice Dept will seek Fascist legislation
gutting the 4th Amendment; personal privacy; turn your local bank into
a government spy; ESCHELON, etc. etc.(Not even mentioning the gross
coverups like Flt. 800 and the Oklahoma Bombing.)
How can Ashcroft possible be worse then Reno? One Nazi replaces
another....such is life in the good ole USA in the year 2001.
Please don't insult us with such sick sanctimonious hypocrisy.
