In addition, Foulston says evidence links the Carr brothers to three separate violent crime scenarios in Wichita. Reginald and Jonathan Carr appear before a judge via closed circuit television from the Sedgwick County Jail. As Reginald is charged with 29 additional violent crimes he waved to friends and family and tells them, "I love you all." The complaint reveals the crime spree started on December 7th when Andrew Schrieber was carjacked and taken to several ATM's. It alleges he was then robbed, beaten and dumped in a northeast Wichita field. Schrieber was first abducted at the Kum and Go convenience store at 21st and Woodlawn . Then the complaint alleges the Carr brother's shot 55 year-old Linda Ann Walenta in the face in her own driveway on December 11th. Finally the amended documents issues new charges involving the quadruple homicide on December 14 and 15. The District Attorney has added 21 additional counts of sexual assaults, revealing that in the last few hours of the victim's lives they were brutally beaten and sexually assaulted. District Attorney, Nola Foulston "It reasonably appears that these were isolated incidents where individuals were community members just driving in the community and they were chosen at random...a random act of violence," say Foulston. The District Attorney is also asking the community for help. Police are looking for one or two .380 caliber weapons that may have been used in the crimes. Anyone who has information on where these weapons may be is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. The District Attorney does not expect a preliminary hearing to begin until April.
