Most of the preachers are pretty right wing republicans.  I don't get the
impression that they are either communist or socialist.  Isn't the
Religious Right the driving force in the republican party?

Every time I bring this up in public there is a dead silence.  How can
churches get away with running for profit schools, factories, rentals,
and such and not pay taxes?  The Organized Chruches in this country are
vastly rich, and getting ever richer.  Yet they do not pay taxes.
