The reason "business" wants to control "politicians" is because "politicians" control government which controls more and more of our lives. If government did not have such power over all aspects of our daily lives, including the economy, then who would give a flying fig about "politicians?" But of course J2's "solution" would be for "the good people" (like J2?) to "control" the politicians. Then everything would be just fine. YEAH RIGHT!
