(on the highway, in a shop, wherever) in the most mundane situations being
settled with guns?
this doesn't happen in the UK.
you know how people get angry and lash out- with very dire
results, happens all the time in various circumstances. now- i am dsaying that
i would prefer a sociey where the choice to pick up a gun in a temper does not
exist. i prefer a society where youngs kids cannot get access to guns.
That is your problem which your citizens have allowed to befall yourselves.
it isn't a problem - it is a blessing.
we lost the right to bare arms some centuries ago and it is
true that the motivation for this was nervousness on the part of the
government about the public being armed. but it has turned out ok
really.
like i said many times- if the government decide to oppress me
(even more than they are doing now) and i need a gun to defend myself...well..
i may as well have a water pistol the good a real gun would do me against such
an organisation.
