-Caveat Lector-

Interesting item here - refers to the signs of the Zodiac in Washington
DC......

Now Bush had the Masonic bible opened to Genesis 49-50 - these are the
twelve tribes, each has a sign of the zodiac attributed to the different
tribes - as Gad, the overcomers (black masons, We Shall Overcome and
Black is Beautiful).......

So the Royal Arch Masons (I Am That I Am...and he Burning Bush) their
banners and colors stem from these signs.

OX equals Bull shall we say.

So this is nice item if interested - the beautiful Chartres Cathedral -
once if you stood in a certain place at a certain time, the sun struck a
certain spot....once in a synagog I was taken to the chapel, and a
circular window in the ceiling reminded me of the Chartres Cathredal -
for my friend built his restaurant - a beautiful place with this same
circular window in the ceiling (high degree Mason and was also a God
father I was told).....so everyone has their high noon but at a certain
time on a day certain the sun would be right above this circular window
to the sky......

So much for the secrets of theTemplars.......wish I were a Mason and
this bunch in Manitoba is something else.

Saba (see under subject matter for pictures, etc.....and then wonder
why the tunnels dug underground in Israel......moles in the making.

Chartres Cathedral
The current cathedral in Chartres was consecrated on 17 October 1260. It
had been completely rebuilt since 1194 when a fire had destroyed
everything of the old cathedral except except for its magnificent
crypts, the newly completed western towers and the Royal Portal. This
period was significant in the history of Charttres as the Chartres
Catheral School, one of the foremost scholastic institutions of
medieaval Europe was at its zenith: the school's influence on the design
and construction of the new cathedral may well have been significant.
Its reputation had been established by Fulbert who ran the school
between 990 and 1028 and was known as the 'Venerable Socrates of the
Chartres Cathedral Academy.' Amongst his successors was the
neo-Platonist Bernard of Chartres (1119-1124) and Thierry, his younger
brother who wrote "Philosophy has two principal instruments, the mind
and its sxpression. The mind is enlightened by the Quadrivium
(arithmetic, geometry, astronomy and music). Its expression, elegant,
reasonable and ornate, is provided by the Trivium (grammar, rhetoric and
dialectic)." Several years after the death of Thierry, these seven
disciplines, accompanied by those authors who best illustrate each, were
sculptured on the Royal Portal of Chartres Cathedral.

ANCIENT SYMBOLISM
"The Virgin is consecrated to Isis, just as Leo is consecrated to her
husband Osiris... The sphinx, composed of a Lion and a Virgin, was used
as a symbol to designate the overflowing of the Nile... they put a
wheat-ear in the hand of the Virgin, to express the idea of the months,
perhaps because the sign of the Virgin was called by the Orientals, ...
wheat-ear."

The Symbolism and Difference of the Laying of Stones
"Symbolically speaking, there is considerable difference between the
laying of a foundation stone and the laying of a cornerstone. As the
name implies, the foundation stone was the one laid within the earth--
it was the first masonry deposited at the footings of a particular
building. And since it was buried in the earth, it was emblematic of
darkness and the chthonic. In contrast, the cornerstone was laid on top
of an already-founded wall -- usually the wall of an underground cellar,
or (in the case of a church) a crypt, which had been constructed prior
to the foundation ceremony. The cornerstone symbolically represents the
first transition of the building from the earth plane into the upper
realm. It is viewed in terms of the form the building will take as a
structure rising into the light, towards the eye of the sun, away from
the chthonic, coffin-bearing darkness of the earth. This is probably one
reason why the more careful Masonic writers usually refer to the
ceremonial of the cornerstone-laying, rather than to the foundation
stone."
