SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER REPORTER Is Amazon.com really a cult, led by a founder so charismatic he inspires
near-hero worship in employees who slave just to be a part of his historic
vision?
Or is it really more like attending a preppy summer camp in a teen sex
comedy?
Oh By the way a note from CNET adds:
Is this the only dot-com-inspired show we'll be seeing this year? We think
not. Below, ten other candidates ripe for Broadway:
1. West Coast Story: It's the dot-coms vs. the bricks-and-mortars in

5. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum: Two dot-com wage slaves
who hang out at alt.slave.rome devise a clever plot to win their freedom.
Wackiness ensues.
6. Death of a Sales Force: A tour de force for William Shatner, supported
by an unknown cast from Priceline.com.
7. Amazon, Get Your Gun: Jeff Bezos and company start offering firearms
and, voila, a disgruntled employee writes a musical.
8. The Virginia Monologues: Harrowing tales from AOL's Reston, VA,
headquarters.
9. Les .Miserables: Picture hundreds of high-tech workers, huddled in the
cold, with nothing but worthless stock option certificates to burn for warmth.
10. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying: Yeah,
