Please forgive me if this mail is misdirected, however I
was given this address as the source of this most hysterical and
ludicrous idea that gun control could possibly ever be a good thing. I
am a hard working computer programmer, educated, a father of 2 beautiful
children 1 1/2 and 4. I was born in the United States of America with
unalienable rights as outlined in my beloved yet hanging by a thread
(thanks to the liberals, marxists, and other control freaks)
constitution. When my government, or any other person, group or
institution can provide me with undeniable proof that every criminal,
weirdo and nutcase with an attitude, (or for that matter any person who
could possibly bring violence against my family and/or myself) will
never again have even a remote chance of coming into possession of a
firearm for the purpose of robbing, killing, maiming or committing any
other crime with said weapon; I might then possibly enter into a
discussion about controlling the widespread ownership of firearms in our
country. Until then, you may have all my guns... bullets first.
We the people are tired of repeat offenders of violent crime
being released into our society to commit yet more violent crime. We the
people reserve our right to defend ourselves, our families and personal
property with whatever means are necessary including lethal force. We
the people are tired of restrictions of freedom and the heavy hand of
big government meddling in our affairs of every day life. We the people
may very well stand one day as a militia as in days of old to protect
ourselves, our families, our rights and our liberties from an ever
encroaching ring of tyrannical government oppression. We the people
shall not and will not go quietly while our freedoms are stripped away
one by one until we have no means to defend ourselves from very real risks
and threats by groups, individuals or government bodies.
Therefore, if any group, individual or government body should seek
to revoke our inherent rights as United States citizens, be warned that
after your fight to ban guns you will have to fight to ban knives, then
you will fight to ban sticks and chains and maybe even rocks. So, if it
is a fight you wish to engage in... bring it on. We the people will
fight for our rights if necessary. We are still America the free, the
most coveted of countries on the planet, and these and many other unique
traits and rights are what keep us free and this the best damn place on
earth.
