-Caveat Lector-

Is this not the gut reaction of everyone who wants to trust in and believe in their 
government and that that very same government is out to protect and defend them.  As 
much as people wish to deny the reality of government run and directed conspiracies to 
effect change in society it cannot be denied that it can and does occur.  I am not 
saying that it is true in this case but to blindly think that mere death and atrocity 
would stop the people in power from doing a thing in order to achieve an end that they 
viewed to be important is to ignore history.  After all governments conduct war, 
espionage, and other things that produce devastation and death.  One cannot just 
assume that good old government is filled with just and good natured people that would 
just put a stop to it all.
