The 2001 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue provides a curious link to Kubrick: They have a feature on Roman Gladiators and Kubrick's movie "Spartacus". Spartacus, of course, was the code name of Adam Weishaupt, the founder of the Bavarian Illuminati. In Kubrick's movie the role of the Gladiator Spartacus, the slave revolt leader, is played by the actor Issur Davidovich Demsky, a.k.a. Kirk Douglas. The feature on the Gladiators in the SI swimsuit issue opens with a large picture of the cover girl, Elsa Benitez, killing three Gladiators. Her name, "Elsa", is a form of "Elisabeth", the mother of St. John the Baptist, a "patron saint" of Freemasonry. Her family name, Benitez, comes from "Benedict", the "blessed one". The Biblical Elisabeth was "one of the daughters of Aaron", i.e., a descendant of the "blessed" first High Priest of the Sacrificial Tabernacle. The three Gladiators that Elsa Benitez "slays" represent the Three Ruffians, the three "Unworthy Craftsmen", the so-called Juwes, who had killed Hiram Abiff, the central hero of Masonic mythology. "Benitez" is also related to the name "Benito", as in Benito Mussolini, the founder of Fascism, another CLuM branch. To drive the point home, the picture of Elsa Benitez slaying the three Unworthy Gladiators is decorated with swastikas, a Masonic symbol and the most prominent symbol of the important CLuM branch of Nazism.
