I agree that Dames' so-called "remote viewing" (I prefer to call it "posthypnotic psychotomimetic") protocols, like any uncontrolled hypnosis induction procedures (especially when the subject is not given a command to come out of it), have unpredictable side effects ... such as insanity. "In my opinion Ed Dames is possessed. It is a low-grade possession but he has no mental defenses. The dark force he's talking about is real and it is absorbing his attention. Eventually he'll be able to see nothing else. He's on his way to the rubber room. "This is partly a result of channeling, a sloppy and hazardous behavior. I also think that his practice as an intelligence agent, of taking a script and making himself believe that it is real (a practice that went far beyond method acting) was damaging to him. It enabled him to utter absurd disinformation with sincerity, but it destroyed his ability to relate to reality." Re Pat's comment that the purpose of "Mindazzle" is "to upgrade intuition, awareness etc. He then added for anything more the regular training course in Remote Viewing would be necessary" shows how effective Dames' doublespeak and mind-dazzling is. Despite his cleverly worded disclaimers on the show, if you go to http://mindazzle.com/main/index.htm you will see the headline: "Remote Viewing Training Kit" and under the "How does it work?" button you will read: "MINDAZZLE! works because it employs the same methods used by professional remote viewers. The kit includes everything that you will need to start remote viewing immediately! ... simply do the directed 'perceiving,' and then fill in the appropriate blanks on one of the enclosed worksheets. Best of all, we have provided you with 150 sealed target photos, each selected to help initiate you into the world of extrasensory perception." It doesn't get any more explicit than that. That's straight out of the CIA-funded Stanford Research Institute descriptions of remote viewing. Pat continues: "He stressed helping children first. If the parents purchase it, you can be sure most of them would be right there practicing/ learning the process at the same time their kids do." Exactly. They will be subjected to the same mind-dazzling hypnotic procedures as the children, making them incapable of supervising these dangerous processes, assuming they even have a clue in the first place about what's going on. We can expect to start seeing Mindazzle victims (children and parents) showing up on this list. Hopefully, they will search the archives for "Mindazzle" and find this attempted explanation. We see the same kind of irresponsible public hypnotic induction procedures (disguised under various names) advocated by the Art Bell panoply of psychopaths and nut cases (sprinkled lightly with a few sane guests), ranging from "out of the body travel" to "satanic exorcism" and "alien visitations." The objective: overlay mystical explanations on psychoses, hallucinations and various neurological problems, entrain and mind-control the victims, and convert them to paying customers. It's as old as the first religions and witch doctors, just given a modern twist to fool the gullible. For those on the list who don't understand how these procedures relate to hypnosis and mind entrrainment, I will attempt to assemble some scientific references in a future post. Perhaps Neil, Arlene, and others with more familiarity with current psych literature can help here.
