Anyone who TRULY knows anything about tarot would find neither The
Hangman card nor the Death card frightening...
Which suggests that these supposed Tarot Card Assassins gained their
knowledge of tarot via Hollywood rather than actual study. If they
really KNEW tarot, they would know that either The Tower or Wheel of
Fortune would have been more appropriate for their purpose...

As a kid I had a book (which had been my mother's when she was a child)
called "Tales from East of the Sun and West of the Moon"...full of
TRADITIONAL fairytales (not the whitewashed Victorian versions)...wish I
had the book now, it was full of beautifull full-color (rare for its time
of printing) art-nouveau style pictures...

I still have a deck of those cards. They were sold in loads of stores in
the 60s and 70s. Bought mine in my college bookstore...
BTW, they're crap. They're cards designed for the masses, for general
