-Caveat Lector- OK, c., but just so you realize you just did the same thing to very conservatives yourself. Not all are "Christian" and I suspect many of the extreme profess NO religion whatsoever. <sigh> Religion and politics are always a nasty combination. While I would consider myself to have extremely conservative values I do not consider them of a religious nature. Just do not want more laws and more govt intrusion and taxes. It has little or nothing to do with religion. But I will agree that the example of the killing of Christ must include that element. I just do not necessarily relate it to political views today nor all politics throughout time.
