      • MEDLINEplus provides access to reviewed, authoritative information about nearly 400 diseases and conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc.), a medical encyclopedia, medical dictionaries, lists of hospitals and physicians, health information in Spanish, and information about prescription and nonprescription drugs.
      • National Health Information Center search the Health Information Resource Database, which includes 1,110 U.S. organizations and government officies that provide health information on request. Entries include contact information, short abstracts, and information about publications and services the organizations provide. Includes a list of toll-free numbers.

      • Physician Select (from the AMA) provides information on licensed physicians in the United States and its possessions, including more than 650,000 doctors of medicine (MD) and doctors of osteopathy or osteopathic medicine (DO). All physician credential data have been verified for accuracy and authenticated.

      • Bureau of Labor Statistics includes statistics and reports on employment and unemployment, price(Consumer Price Index ) and living conditions, compensation and more.
