-Caveat Lector-

Hello!,
Well I'am an extremist eh? Please tell me is it extremist to want energy
independence? This would put a lot of people to work busily building
nuclear power plants, developing oil fields not only in Alaska but in the
gulf of Mexico, off shore everywhere. People minig coal for power plants
and might I add substitute for petroluem in the chemical industry. Oil
shale being converted in stu (in place) and piped and refined. New oil
refineryies being built note 251 oil refineries in 1963 151 now we need
additional oil refinery capacity! Also, Plants to re-processe spent
nuclear
fuel, Full speed ahead research on cold fusion and hot fusion
technologies. Developing the the methane hydrate resources off the east
coast of the united states. And to top it all off all that money going
outside the US to import energy stays here in the United States! Who out
there can call this extremist??? I know one! One Steve Wingate in that
energy heaven called northern california!! How about some response from
some other people?? Am I an extremist?

Mike,
In case you haven't noticed, Steve gets very sarcastic
and personal when he comes across something
he doesn't like.
