I wondered about that, too. The FBI ruins data for trials (and witholds
evidence) all the time. Why so honest and open about the McVeigh thing?
It's uncharacteristic.
It hadn't occurred to me that it would be as a diversion from the
Disclosure Project, though, because I figured that would be well-repressed
anyway. But it's food for thought.
