I'd seen excerpts of the book on the internet before, but only recently
obtained an out-of-print copy of the first printing. I've been quite
surprised at the objectivity of the book. From what I'd read and heard
before, I expected it to be somewhat sensationalized and not well-documented.
This is not the case at all.
DeCamp uses the public record to make his case: news stories, Franklin
Committee testimony and the notes of the key investigator, Cardori (who was
killed.)
As for the technology (since the '70's) to download memories into a human
brain that are indistinguishable from "real" memories, I'd like to know more
about that. I've suspected they experimented on interfacing the human brain
with computers but haven't found much solid info on it. Do you have any
suggestions for reading?
