Well, now, that is about enough. Timothy McVeigh wrote to ME, and told ME all about it. Here is the letter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Dear Terry Cross: I want to thank you for your efforts on my behalf, but I really think you are wasting your time. First, you should not be afraid for my welfare. If they want to kill me, they will do it with a needle, a shoelace with a bad attitude, or an malfunctioning electric toilet seat. It is very easy to get rid of somebody in prison, but I don't think they will. Second, this delay is not for real. Nobody has ever stopped an execution with an excuse this flimsy before. The FBI didn't have to start finding those boxes that were never lost -- not now anyway. And they certainly did not have to announce to the newspapers that they were found. I think they chickened out. What they really want is more talk about the bombing. They want more television, more newspaper, more commentary -- it might be because people were talking about Waco again, and they need to change the subject. The team that put together the OKC bombing was getting antsy, but were already told they better not do another bomb again. So what could they do? They put me on a cliff-hanger execution to grab everybody's attention. I don't want to talk about John Doe #2, Terry Nichols, or whether I was in OKC on April 19, 1995 -- you can appreciate the legal implications, I am sure -- but let me just say that every official source you have heard has something to hide, and something to lie about, too. So just be careful what you believe about me. Next thing you know, you'll find my face on a cereal package of Puffed Wheat (Shot From Cannons!), or endorsing Ross Perot for President. They can say anything they want about me, and what am I going to do? Sue for defamation of character?
