Pardongate Grand Jury Hears Testimony Against Roger Clinton
A grand jury convened by U.S. Attorney for New York's Southern District
Mary Jo White heard testimony Wednesday against former first brother
Roger Clinton from key Pardongate witness Garland Lincecum, say the two
reporters who first revealed Lincecum's allegations, John Batchelor and
Paul Alexander.
In an exclusive heads-up to NewsMax.com, the WABC radio duo revealed
late Wednesday that prosecutors took Lincecum from his Bastrup, Texas
jail cell, where he's serving an eight year sentence for investment
fraud, and brought him to the federal courthouse in White Plains, New
York to testify against the Clinton sibling.
Details of Lincecum's testimony remain sealed. But his family has
provided White's office with $235,000 in cancelled checks made out to a
company controlled by Clinton and two partners, Dickie Morton and George
Locke, after promises of a pardon were made.
Initially Lincecum invoked his Fifth Amendment right against
self-incrimination, Batchelor and Alexander said. But after he was
immunized by White's prosecutors, he is believed to have described an
extensive scheme by Clinton and his partners to peddle presidential
pardons.
