Picked up a recent issue of Scientific American and the editorial piece was perfect example. The editor descended into a political rant and pejoratives cast on President Bush and yet didn't resort to one iota of scientific reasoning to back up his diatribe. His fundamental argument is that you're just an idiotic stupid person if you don't go along with what I and my particular clique of politically ideological scientist say. It's what passes for "thoughtful" scientific discourse in Scientific American these days. It's long been a sham that science proceeds in a dispassionate and objective fashion only caring about determining objective truth. But in the past its lack of objectivity used to revolve more around egotism and entrenched dogma. These days, though, just like all other aspects of Western civilization, science has been drug down into the pig sty of fascist political correctness. These days it's wise to discount what a scientist has to say on a matter every bit as much as a journalist, a politico, professional educator, or entertainment celebrity. The majority of these have had their minds consumed by globalist/socialist political neo-fascism (Tony Blair's Third Way) just like a very similar fascism possessed these very same kind of folk in 1930s Nazi Germany. The parallel of how these type of people are seduced and beguiled by the fascist mind set and agenda, as occurred in '30s Germany and then again in '90s America, is uncanny. Indeed, it makes one ponder what kind of fundamental defect these people have that they're always the first-fruits vanguard of fascist anti-societal, anti-Western subversion.
