This is the stupidest argument for abolishing the death penalty. It is
simply NOT TRUE. Any one of us has had a situation where we would have loved to
do some asshole in, but didn't. THERE IS NO WAY OF MEASURING HOW MANY KILLINGS
WERE PREVENTED BY THE FEAR OF BEING CAUGHT, JAILED, AND PUT TO DEATH!!! No one
in their right mind can make the claim that the death penalty is NOT a
deterrent. They are simply liars or ideological fools.
