And after that exercise, read "That Terrible Strength", by C.S. Lewis,
the last book in what is termed "The Perlandra Trilogy"...it is not
necessary to read the first two books ("Out of the Silent Planet" and
"Perlandra") to understand "That Terrible Strength", although doing so
will give the reader a deeper understanding of the underlying philosophy
of the book...
It is unsettling to realize that Lewis wrote this book in the late 1940s,
as it is so 'spot on' in describing present-day society...
