behavior and hate that many of those who call themselves 'Christian'
display...
Islam was originally quite positive towards women, and Islamic women of
the Middle Ages enjoyed much more autonomy and respect in their societies
than Christian women of the same era received in theirs. Not only
did Mohammed show respect and deference to women, his daughters were the
ones who carried on his message after his death and were accorded full
rights and the same respect that their father had had...
