Most waste is excreted in the kidneys, not the skin. If skin was a major
source for waste excretion, we people with kidney failure would just go to a
sweat lodge instead of receiving dialysis. And people would smell like
urine, and have to bathe several times daily. (Sounds like the Greys. :)
