another futurist. If the patents he holds are any indication, he is the
Thomas Edison of Artificial Intelligence. His predictions in the field
are not to be taken lightly. So far, he has almost always been right. He
has some very, very interesting things to say about the near future of
brain scanning.
After reading Kurzweil, my best guess is that Farwell�s gizmo is not the
cutting edge. It�s just what we're being told about. What is the real
cutting edge of brain scanning? We can extrapolate. I did. It gave me
insomnia.
