Gary Condit in a series of late April telephone conversations she had with the California Democrat before she vanished without a trace on May 1. "Both the FBI and the D.C. police have proof Chandra Levy made a series of lengthy phone calls to Condit's ultra private phone line just hours before she disappeared," reported Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly Friday night. "The feds are looking into the possibility that the calls Miss Levy made concern going public with the affair." In a related development, flight attendant Anne Marie Smith, who claimed two weeks ago that Condit asked her to commit perjury by denying their own affair in a false affidavit, has allegedly told investigators that Condit had a short fuse.
