Title: the matter with ebayThe Matter with Ebay
You have no privacy online, but its way worse at big sites. Believe it. And Government has made this a LOT worse. Just in the amount of gasoline saved yearly, the internet has hurt the police state. There is less for them to do, many less people on the street. Look into it you will be amazed. So where do all the cops go? Right here, thats where. And they are for hire, just like the hundreds of thousands of Secret Agents the government trains then employs for a few years, then kicks out on the street. They know how to spy, and maybe how to fry an egg. They are all for hire and they work cheap. Its a mess. Only way around all this is to supersede users agreements, like this: I spend the currency of the federal reserve banking system without prejudice, under duress, in extremis. This includes all credit transactions whether falling under the auspices of the federal reserve or not. No implied consent is given and in no way shall be utilized by any agency as such. I have exercised the remedy provided for me in the Uniform Commercial Code, Article 1, section 207, whereby I may reserve my constitutional rights (And it is illegal for any agency to demand usurpation of those rights as a qualification for doing business) not to be bound by, nor compelled to perform under any contract, commercial agreement or bankruptcy that I had not entered into knowingly, voluntarily, or intentionally; furthermore, that reservation upon all administrative agencies of government; national, state and local. That I do not and will not accept the liability associated with a compelled benefit of any unrevealed contract, commercial agreement, or bankruptcy.
It was early 1998 and business at the fleamarket where my leather shop was located was just so-so. There hadnt been a lot of business at that fleamarket for a while, because a major corporation had come in a few years before and built a HUGE fleamarket down the street and around the corner from it. But we survived, and we had some neat stuff that the larger fancier fleamarket didnt have. We were strong on hand-made craftsmanship, whereas the large fleamarket and its exorbitant fees were mostly dependent on dealers of imported goods: the price mark-up on imported goods allowed the profits necessary to pay the rent on the new facility's spaces.
I was always looking for new areas to work into, in an effort to make a living, and I had some friends who had been on the internet for quite some time already. I had finagled some time on their machines, as well as visiting some shops where internet time was sold to a user by the hour. This gave me bright ideas, and I approached Jim, the owner of our small market, about a partnership, whereby we could open a shop with a couple of computers and rent space by the hour. This would hopefully pay for the computers and allow me time to do my thing, which was freelance writing and certain activism based on communication. We put the wheels in motion and before long had obtained a couple of IBM clones which I set up to work on a coin operated basis. We had sporadic traffic, and I was able to work late into the night surfing the internet, familiarizing myself with what was going on on the world wide web.
One of the first banner ads I ever came across on the world wide web was advertising a company called ebay. Funny Name for a company, I remember thinking. I didnt much care for the banner ads even way back when; I saw it as a means to commercialize the internet medium along the lines of television (KILL YOUR TV), so I never visited ebay in spite of its advertisements. It wasnt until a month or two later, when I got a call from a friend, that I finally got around to checking ebay out. My friend John told me I should stop by that site because Product is starting to move there, and move well...
I did as instructed and sure enough I was amazed at the action happening there at ebay. The first mass ecommerce venture was starting to take off!
We of course cannot say the very first ecomm venture, because there were many before ebay, but ebay was the first that worked, at least in a big way. It was reaching some sort of critical mass and the traffic was growing at amazing rate. Later web researchers of course tied this in to ease of use, and word of mouth, and a certain informality that made the place Enjoyable.
We dove into ebay and started doing real business for a change. John had gotten ahold of a nice digital camera and he made it available to me, and I bought a scanner which is almost as good as a digicam and less than 1/10th the price. We started listing on ebay and it was incredible! I was selling stock that I had been Collecting for years. My first sale, or, rather, my first check from a sale, was for an agatized shell, a very fine geological specimen whose value I did not think I would realize in my lifetime. Well it sold at ebay, and for a decent price too, and the check arrived punctually. I told Ed, the jeweler who shared the building with me, to watch the shop I had to leave for a few minutes. I packed the item, and drove to the airport with it, to deposit in the mailbox there for fast turnaround.
I was pretty happy. Excitement was in the air. The power of currency was coming back to the people. Finally. We had long suspected the internet would bring new equality to economic factors within society, factors that had become hydraulically concentrated through adroit manipulations of banking over the last 100 years or so, creating things like the drug war police state, the welfare state, and all other manner of begging to an elite. We knew when the dam broke it would probably break big, and many of us thought of ebay in the beginning as the guillotine with which to chop off the heads of the foreign hydra which has taken over control of the American Government through its currency.
In the beginning at ebay there was a fail safe against over-expenditure, in that reserve prices on the auctions could be fixed at no extra cost, so that a seller would not end up selling an item, or be bound to sell an item, for less than one wished to get for it. This had a down side also, for ebay that is, because in the beginning not only was communication among users easy to do, it was encouraged too. Many times I would set the reserve price, and the bidding would not reach the reserve, but the bidders would contact me after the auction, or I them, and we could reach an agreement and make the sale. This left ebay out in the cold, and my conscience bothered me over that. I contacted them many times and told them this was happening to me, and that I would be glad to pay the attendant percentages on the sales based on honor. Their answers, invariably, were: Dont worry about it.
Throughout the course of using ebay I found out that the company had been founded by Pierre Omidyar and had been the extension of a rather long going project whose initial inspiration had been trying to set up a way to buy and sell collectibles. Ebay is the result of many different things, and is in every sense of the word a history making event, and when it was new it was fresh and powerful and it was hope to many of us.
Then ebay got BIG. The hassles of the company, and its growth, required lots of high powered help, and this was taken on with media fanfare that usually occurs during visits of foreign royalty or something. The Establishment was moving in, to their rightful places, the conditioning industry and inside trading network called big education, as well as government, the latter forcefully of course, were moving into the slots they had grown accustomed to, and it was pretty plain to see when all this began.
PROJECTIONS PROJECTIONS PROJECTIONS WE ARE GOING TO MAKE TEN GODZILLION DOLLARS BY...LETS SEE....9 O'CLOCK TONIGHT THEN DOUBLE THAT BY TOMORROW NIGHT...
Sellers were standing around scratching their heads goin: Give us a break, eh? Whose paying for all that? The numbers thats who. The numbers. US. Always have, but we are getting over it let me tell you. While all this was going on, government was moving fast and furious in the background, because if ebay was gonna be this big, Well den Rocko, we needa get some of dat action....
Or go looking for sites who understand the need for privacy, and buy their services. Good luck on that latter they are messed with hard.
Ebays corporate crew seems to be at liberty to use whatever they like, and to hell with its creator, or the talent from which it sprang, unless ebay can get a piece of that creators action. If you doubt anything just said here, check out elance.com, an ebay concern. Intercommunication among users is highly discouraged there, actually stepped on with black booted fury (CALL 911!). Then for laughs check out www.gunbroker.com .
Next came Ebay-U. Now, users, you need to LEARN how to use ebay, you need to be conditioned to this new way which is nothing more than the OLD WAY. To make your mind a slate to be written on. And Pay Us to condition you, of course. And now that we are in control, if you do not capitulate, we can make it verrrrryyy hard on you, we can make you WISH you had gone to ebay U. heh-heh. The new sound same as the old sound. The record record round round.
Then there was the unpublicized (barely) but very real fight between paypal and ebay, the billpoint debacle. This of course is 100% deniable by both parties if that was ever necessary, but we all saw it happen, who are they trying to fool?
There has been insecurity on the ebay site too, meaning it is vulnerable to attack. As all these established systems were allowed to come in and take over ebay, to subsume it, we are all put into the program whether we liked it or not, and we take our lumps right along with ebay, but have no considerations, or recourse to address. Why, even trying to get your percentage fees back from no-pays (we have heard and seen as much as 30% incidence of that) turns into a major accounting snarl.
There has been harassment of every sort on the internet, which we of course must expect from the present political administration, they cannot prey (IT WORKS!) if people are getting along...they cannot pretend to blue blood if we do not support them through our ignorance, by allowing them to murder cheat lie and steal. Because ebay has allowed the predators of the government security cult into their midst, harassment has risen and economic warfare enters the field. What? You didnt know we are right in the middle of Americas second Civil War? Well, you better awaken, and quickly.
These corporations like ebay have bowed to the world court, the court of Federal Reserve Currency, World Bank Currency, and have censored the sale of items neither dangerous nor mis-advertised. Suppression strengthens so maybe everybody is a closet nazi, I dont know. The damned swastika appears everywhere and everywhen in humankinds history. Thats because it is nothing more than a representation of a certain type of comet, a pheasant-tailed comet. A common enough occurrence and maybe what a comet looks like right before it it smacks GA-BOOM into the planet, causing vast extinction, crustal displacement...the general nuclear winter type of thingy which happens periodically on this orb of ours. So ebay has turned into a censor of information too. Perfect. Just like the US Government and their cult of secret intelligence. Its more important to portray a certain feeling, or a Facade, than it is the truth. So much for honesty.
Ebay has been party to destruction of world history through helping to portray incorrect cleaning methods of ancient artifacts, this because their larger dealers do not want a flooded market of archaia, but naturally want to sell the objects as they are retrieved from the earth with metal detectors. Ebay turned down the opportunity to portray good conservation information, and I know this for a fact because they had first crack at my Coin Cleaning Report(www.luxefaire.com/coin.htm), which I subsequently sold per report at ebay itself, and then made Public Domain through others and myself. Ebays magazine acquisition Krause used to at least send me rejection letters before ebay acquired them, I think it was all a done deal by the American Corporate Royalty that moved into ebay, or pressured ebay into letting them move in. Banks ya know. They are one with government now, its time to pop both those balloons. And everything is allllll tied together through big education and media. Oi. Just a shepherd and his little sheople. Yeah. My hiney.
Ebay will make any deal necessary to meet projections, make a buck, its just that they want ebay to stand for something other than a place to do commerce, they only want certain KINDS of commerce there. But do not let that fool you they will try to take over anywhere there is the remotest chance of a $ to be made. Granted ebay has some interests that are not working, and the more people understand what kind of system they are buying into when using ebay and its subsidiaries, as well as many of the other big boys who have been taken over by government and big education, the more people will come to realize certain things concerning freedom, control, the true dirtiness of what is taught as good business practice today (Usurious systems--Paypal is nothing BUT Usury) and the actual Entrapment going down on the internet by big corporations, and the law enforcement / prison INDUSTRY.
This has all been done very gradually, and even those party to it, like the corporate board with their high $ conditionings, may not be privy to the overall view, and are probably not. They certainly do seem to be unaware of many things, many times.
In the mean time any site that could be removed has been removed, individual sites have lost counts on their honesty.com counters, feedback has been lost at the ebay site, pictures have been blocked, I even had somebody hack my browser, put something into it (Microsoft swiss cheese) where crucifixes showed up on my ebay ads, just ebay, all the ads, there were these little crucifixes all over the ad. I saved one if you want to see it. Great care and timing has been exercised as chaos is introduced to thwart and usurp the power of the individual. They have been at this a long time.
Many do not seem to be aware what is happening here. I suppose we must say BOO! to them.
On the internet the numbers work. Of and by themselves, this life form is feeling the freest form of expression ever, and It Likes It.
These idiots who have sold us and our children by Putting on a Show for the Marks, all the while making concessions against our Liberty, are in their third generation right now. They have had it handed to them. They are DEVO. Their Grandfathers were nazis and drug dealers and vivesectionists and predators of the human soul. They are people who are quoted as saying The best business of business is politics.
Off with their heads.
Some of the conditioned are beginning to finally understand what a big world it is out here, and to understand the power of the mavericks and autodidacts, whose numbers have swelled phenomenally just through the realization that there is nothing wrong with marijuana. We are HUGE and SMART. Some of the Conditioned are also beginning to understand the vast reservoir of unrecognized but no less real talent in the world. For Centuries, see-it, FOREVER, the unsung intellects have made the world the truly magical place that it is, not those trumpeted before the bleeting sheep as a show, as a ritual to god money. There are beings here whose spiritual magnitudes surpass anything ever known before, right now, but this is undetectable by those conditioned against it. Many believe that ALL conditioning is simply to accomplish that. I tend toward that way of thinking, especially when you consider that some of the so called most holy have burnt innumerable libraries across their jaded and patchwork history. They are scared of people learning. They are scared of the internet. They are doing their best to control it, but things like this and many others let them know that it is not possible, and will probably never be possible. Change is here.
People are waking up. People, the numbers, do not have to take any of this crap. It is perped on us because the slimy find it profitable to feed at the teat of beast. The beast is not of this country, and was effectively barred for awhile, but it is insidious and it wants your body, your mind, your health, your wealth, and your soul. And those of your children of course.
The break up is coming fast though. Already, when I buy, it is more lucrative to surf the net for deals and commerce rather than use ebay. Just because of the privacy issues I stay as far away as possible from any site of known media collusion,
and sites that only allow membership or business if a credit card is registered.
I still work at ebay but do not know for how long, they will become unprofitable for me here soon, the way its going, and other things like barter are beginning to really work.
The internet is a new currency, most current, it is current-see. It is valuable. Ebay and even others could have set the new standards but they blew it, and would only hire conditioned minds, the least able to deal with something totally NEW. Ooops! yourself ebay. Many are finding this out now as the numbers begin a new dance across cyber awareness.
We need to take the government back for the people. It too is happening. Tax Banks. All Banking. Elect Liberty and Currency Reformers. Dont elect lawyers.
