U.S. Honors Foreign Communist With Stamp

The bumbling U.S. post office doesn't care if it POs Americans by putting
communist Mexican artist Frida Kahlo on a stamp. The mustachioed, unibrowed
Kahlo was such a hard-core left-winger that her last painting before her
belated suicide in 1954 was of genocidal Soviet dictator Stalin. The Postal
Service remains as unrepentant as Kahlo. It claims it chose Kahlo for her
talent, not her politics, sex, race or sexual "preference," Fox News Channel
reported this evening. Postal bureaucrats refused to tell Fox which American
artists it gave the heave-ho from its short list so it could honor Kahlo.
