What is the difference? Fascism is just another variant of
socialism. Hitler and Mussolini were socialists. Mussolini
(who is credited with inventing fascism) was an avid
socialist, edited a socialist newspaper. His concept of
facism was basically worker syndicalism interfused with
co-opting the captalist corporate structure by making the
party supreme.
Hitler saw the stupid mistakes of Russian Communists when
they almost destroyed their revolution and the national structure
by attempting to replace experienced capitalists with ignorant
party hacks. With the benefit of Mussolini's experience, the Nazis
divised a scheme to co opt capitalism by making Germany
a one party state and coercing all business, academic, scientific,
govt bureacrats join the the Nazi party in order to preserve their positions
of privilege and power.
The Nazis ultimately controlled the means of production through
the party...same as the communists.
