Nice story on Sinatra - once every juke box in the country was playing Yellow Bird as Sinatra had been called into a hearing and the mob was afraid he would sing....friendly warning. Years ago a friend of mine told me there were some Miami cars at this local restaurant/bar I might want to check out....sure enough it look like the meeting of Murder Inc......it was during this time frame and I was curious about whether they would open a bible before the began to conduct business. Well - when I entered and sat quietly in a dark booth suddenly the proprietor got up, went to the big Juke Box - and played Yellow Bird and gave me the biggest smile. I left.....ever see someone smile with dead reptilian eyes? Saba Nice item here on the Canary who did not sing before the Grand Jury.
